We Instantly ClickedSUSIE - MARYLEBONE
I was first introduced to Stuart and Mathew back in 2005 when I decided to sell my family home in the West End. We instantly clicked. They quickly appreciated this was a big move for me, and approached the sale with professionalism and attentiveness.
Stuart found a buyer for the house within a few weeks. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly it all happened, but this meant I had to move equally quickly to find something to buy myself. I was quite specific about the location, and even gave Stuart the streets on my wishlist to make the job even harder! On top of this already challenging brief, I wanted some outside space, a difficult task in central London. Stuart then sent me a shortlist of potential apartments the next day.
"Low and behold, after a few days of viewings I found the perfect apartment in the heart of Marylebone Village, with a beautiful roof terrace."
Low and behold, after a few days of viewings I found the perfect apartment in the heart of Marylebone Village, with a beautiful roof terrace. I made an offer that was accepted, and Stuart managed the legal process for both the sale and purchase smoothly. He even helped me suspend the parking bay outside the apartment to help with the removals.
After a few years in Marylebone Village I decided that I wanted to escape to the country and appointed Stuart to act for me. Although the property market had seen a dip during the time I had owned the apartment, Stuart still managed to secure a buyer and I made a tidy profit.
More recently, Mathew has helped me sell an investment property close to Connaught Village. What could have been a very complicated sale due to the upcoming refurbishment works was quickly resolved as he had plenty of experience and knowledge of resolving similar scenarios.
When Mathew and Stuart asked me to write some Kind Words for them, I didn’t know how to condense it all into 300 words! They are a pleasure to work with and experts in their field.

Not Your Usual Agents
I was looking for a property in Marylebone for years. Did the usual and registered with all the estate agents, but when I met Stuart he listened to what I wanted and didn’t take me round to see properties for the sake of it. When I finally saw this property, Stuart addressed all my questions, […]
Always Kept Updated
I had been considering moving for quite some time but wasn’t sure if the market was strong enough to achieve the price I wanted. It was also important for me to partner with an agent who I felt was invested in my move, Stuart demonstrated that passion from the first time that we met. His […]
Passionate and Professional
Prior to instructing Story of Home, we were already on the market with a large corporate global agent. There was some initial interest, but we got the feeling that after the first few weeks, we were no longer a priority. Then one evening at a dinner party a friend suggested we should speak to Story […]
An Estate Agency Like No Other
I was introduced to Story of Home through a friend, and from the very first phone call I knew they got it. I was selling a Grade II listed, 7,500 sq ft Georgian Manor House called Rush Grove House which was originally built in 1816. Prior to being introduced to Story of Home I had […]
Stood Out From The Crowd
We first met Mathew in 2010 when we were looking to buy a pied-a-terre in Marylebone. We didn’t know the area particularly well back then and were speaking with lots of estate agents in Marylebone. It was Mathew who stood out from the crowd. He understood exactly what we wanted and only showed us properties […]

We both immediately connected with Stuart, he came across as experienced and clearly very passionate about London property. Like […]
By the time we met Stuart we had been already been house hunting for a few months. We were speaking to lots of different estate agents, and were being bombarded with calls and emails about apartments that simply weren’t right for us. One of our main objectives was to find somewhere with a beautiful terrace […]
