In the owners words: ”Nearly 30 years ago I decided to look for a home in Marylebone, in order for my daughter to be close to her school in Harley Street.

I had always loved the area, its buildings and unspoiled atmosphere. Surprisingly unchanged over the years.

When I moved in I literally turned the place upside down!

By removing part of the top floor I created the space I needed. It gave me both a generous living area and a light and airy room for working from home.

As much care and attention was put into capturing the most space and light for the bedrooms and bathrooms below.

Everyone who enters the home relishes time spent there. It’s magical. By no means an overstatement. I’ve never been happier.

In the summertime it’s like walking into a Hampton’s beach house; in the winter it comes into its own yet again. The generous fire place creates a hub of cozy intimacy.

There are two balconies, one of which allows me to sit outside, daylong, and watch the world go by.

Did I mention that despite being just two minutes from the bustle of the high street, it is always so, so quiet.

I shall miss it, and the birdsong, enormously”.
