Story of the Home

An architecturally designed and beautifully presented two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment with private patio, set on one of London’s finest garden squares.

In the owners words:
“We bought the apartment eight years ago and worked with a wonderful architect to completely remodel and refurbish the property. Now, the interior is befitting of its stunning location, in the middle of Warwick Square, Pimlico.

It is in ‘turn-key’ condition, as we invested significantly in premium fittings and timeless materials throughout. The flat benefits from its own private front door and entrance, as well as a beautiful private patio at the rear.

The apartment has high ceilings throughout and attractive period features, adding character to complement the modern design of the kitchen and bathrooms. We put in Portland limestone floors with electric underfloor heating in the hallway, kitchen, dining room and private patio. As part of the refurbishment, we installed extensive damp proof coursing and the architect designed clever space saving fire doors in the kitchen that blend into the wall.

There are two double bedrooms, both with built-in cupboards providing plenty of storage. The second bedroom is currently set up as a study, but would be perfect as a spare room, or a children’s room. Both have en-suites bathrooms finished to a high-spec with Guido blue limestone and walnut finishes.

We installed a new Italian kitchen, with crisp white units and walnut wood accents, mirroring the materials that have been used in the bathroom design. Top of the range Siemens appliances include, a separate washing machine and tumble dryer, dishwasher, induction hob, double oven, and built in microwave and wine fridge. The appliances have been thoughtfully incorporated into the design, making the kitchen both functional and aesthetically impressive.

Our favourite thing about living on Warwick Square is having access to the private gardens, that have won several awards including ‘London in Bloom; Small Park of the Year 2022’. The private tennis courts are available for residents use all year round.

The location is fantastic with Sloane Square, Elizabeth Street, Victoria Station, Battersea Park and Power Station all within a short walking distance. More local restaurants have popped up in the area recently, our favourites include The Little Bread Pedlar, Cacio e Pepe, Tozi, and Lorne. Another ‘go-to’ local institution is Jonathan Norris fishmonger on Tatchbrook Street market.

Transport links are also great with the Victoria, Circle and District Lines available within a few minute walk at Pimlico or Victoria Underground Stations.”
