Story of the Home

“I bought Heritage Lane off plan in 2012, having looked around North West London for well over a year. I must have been an estate agents nightmare, as I physically viewed over 25 properties before deciding that this place offered everything I was looking for.

Compared to other properties I viewed, Heritage felt like a slight compromise in terms of square footage, or at least it did at the time. However, the apartment is a very well designed, which completely makes up for this. With no wasted space in the corridors and all the storage is already built in, it’s a really usable space.

The location is perfect for commuting. I love to travel, so being able to get to the airport easily was very important to me. I can be at either Luton or Heathrow Airport in less than 60 minutes, and Bond Street in just 12 minutes. Having the Overground, British Rail, and underground literally on my doorstep is fantastic. I feel very comfortable flying to the other side of the world knowing the apartment is secure and my belongings are safe.

The onsite facilities are brilliant. There’s a sauna, steam room and gym that are always quiet. The overall finish of the development really is high end, and this stood out in comparison to the other developments I viewed in North London. The 24-hour concierge team are very accommodating and not something you’ll easily find other local residential buildings.

West End Lane has a real village feel and there is plenty of choice, whether you’re eating out or grocery shopping. My favourite restaurant is The Wet Fish, the food is fresh and delicious. On a Saturday, there is a great farmer’s market which is always popular, busy and is well worth a visit.

The location is perfect for commuting, having the Overground, British Rail and Tube Stations literally on my doorstep is fantastic. I can be at either Luton or Heathrow Airports in 60 minutes and Bond Street in just 12 minutes.”
