Story of the Home

"We bought the apartment in 2013, and were searching for six months having viewed over 20 properties. We were struggling to find a modern apartment with two equal sized bedrooms in this area.
The first thing that jumped out about Harley Street was how light and spacious the apartment felt as you walked in, the layout was architecturally designed ensuring all the space is usable, maximising the square footage.
We love the modern design, the stylish dark wooden floors and doors contrast nicely against the lighter walls, fitted kitchen and bathrooms. The living room is very bright during the day, and the underfloor heating ensures the home is very cosy during winter months.
The contemporary kitchen is positioned off the living room making the space great for hosting friends and family. Both bedrooms are at the back of the building and overlook a peaceful Mews, there are also large bespoke wardrobes in both bedrooms. The main bedroom has access to a modern shower room, and bedroom two uses the bathroom off the hallway.
There is also extra storage in the hallway, and the washing machine and separate tumble dryer are tucked away nicely in the laundry cupboard too. Harley Street is a fabulous location, with stunning Georgian architecture, with Cavendish Square at one end and the oasis of Regents Park at the top.
The village feel of Marylebone High Street is less than a 3 minute walk away. We are spoilt for choice with so many amazing restaurants and shops on the door-step. We love the coffee at Monocle or Temple of Coffee on Chiltern Street. A perfect place for a cosy dinner is Le Vieux Comptoir on Moxon Street, with delicious French food and wine and it happens to be next to the famous Ginger Pig butcher shop. There are so many places where you can sit and watch the world go by, it really does have a cosmopolitan feel.
The location and transport links are fantastic being a just 5 minute walk to Regents Park Tube Station. Baker Street, Great Portland Street, Bond Street and Oxford Circus are also close by.
We take advantage of sunny days to walk to our offices in Mayfair and play tennis at Regent’s Park."
